Characteristics:
• Dynamic splint with a steel plate covered with polyethene foam and a rubber anchor that keeps the finger extended.
• Used to increase proximal interphalangeal joint extension.
• Comfortable to use.
 
Indications:
Boutonnière deformity. Retraction or injury of the flexor tendon in the interphalangeal joints of a finger. Tissue retraction on the palm side of the finger or finger joints.
